Tieback Anchors for Campus Expansion in Valencia with Casagrande C4 XP-2
16 The work involved the execution of tieback anchors for a soldier pile retaining wall, ensuring slope stability and safety during excavation and construction phases. Each anchor was drilled to a depth of 4 meters with a diameter of 100 mm..
The operations were carried out using the Casagrande C4 XP-2, a compact and powerful crawler drill designed for tiebacks, micropiles, and jet grouting. Its small footprint and high drilling precision make it ideal for city works and excavation support applications.
The C4 XP-2 features an advanced XP series hydraulic system with load-sensing technology, providing optimal control of torque and feed force. The rig’s modular mast and front-the-wall articulation allow flexible positioning and drilling at various angles close to structures.
• Engine power: 100 kW
• Extraction force: 50 kN
• Weght: 8,5 ton
