Large Diameter Piles for Deep Drilling | Casagrande Group

Large diameter piles

Large diameter bored piles for deep foundations and heavy loads.

Overview

Large Diameter Piles are deep foundation solutions designed to transfer high structural loads to stable soil layers or bedrock.
Widely used in infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and energy projects, these piling methods ensure strength, stability, and adaptability across a broad range of ground conditions.
From conventional bored piles to advanced displacement and continuous flight auger techniques, large diameter piling technologies provide efficient and reliable solutions for modern foundation engineering.

Available technologies

Bored piles

Rotary drilling technology, dry or with bentonite slurry, is ideal for large diameter and deep piles. Can be used in the presence of water and in all types of soil. Guarantees high hole stability and design versatility.

Cased CFA

Combines continuous flight auger drilling with the use of casing to maintain hole stability in particularly unstable soils. Suitable for work in urban areas and near existing structures.

CFA piles

Continuous auger method that allows piles to be driven without interruption, with minimal environmental disturbance and excellent productivity. Ideal for sandy or soft cohesive soils.

Displacement piles

Technique without soil removal, with reduced production of waste material. Perfect for contaminated soils, sensitive environments and projects that require minimal impact on the ground.

DTH hammer

Solution for drilling in extremely hard or rocky formations. The Down-The-Hole ensures precision and maximum efficiency where conventional technologies fail.
