Casagrande CB20 for CFA Piling at the Fornovo di Taro–Ponte Taro Overpass Site
The project involves the construction of an overpass on the A22 highway. The foundation works at the Fornovo di Taro–Ponte Taro site include continuous flight auger piles with a diameter of 800 mm and a drilling depth of 16.50 m.
Designed for CFA and CFA Rapid applications, the CB20 has a maximum torque of 204 kNm and a 231 kW Cummins B6.7 Stage V/Tier 4 diesel engine. Standard equipment includes the SPM – Smart Power Management system, a 12-inch touchscreen for drilling parameters, a 7-inch auxiliary display, drilling-depth measurement and automatic mast verticality control. Depth, torque, pressure and verticality data can be monitored from the operator’s cab.
