Foundation works are underway in Chisinau, Moldova, for the “Metropolis” residential complex. On this project, the customer is operating a Casagrande CB16 configured for Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) piling.
This approach is particularly suited for urban developments such as Metropolis, where controlled installation processes and limited disturbance to surrounding areas are key factors.

The CB16 is the second model of the new Casagrande CB series and represents the smallest unit in the range. It is equipped with control systems that manage drilling parameters and concrete casting phases in CFA operations, supporting continuity during pile execution.
