We are pleased to share an important award received by UNHCR Italy on World Refugee Day: the WELCOME 2024 logo, presented to us at the LUISS University in Rome.
The programme Welcome. Working for refugee integration rewards companies that promote the employment and social integration of refugees through recruitment, training courses, or self-employment initiatives.
Our project, launched in 2023, is a concrete example of how collaboration, commitment, and training can turn a challenge into an opportunity.

Thanks to the support of partners and collaborators, we have structured a path that has led 6 refugee people to join our welding team, after comprehensive training: from language courses to technical drawing to practical experience in the field.
The path was not easy: we faced bureaucratic difficulties and relational challenges, but today we can proudly say that each step was a small great success.
Today, these people are an integral part of our company, bringing with them not only new skills but also motivation and resilience that enrich our work every day.

For Casagrande SpA, integration means acting concretely: listening, training, offering real job opportunities, and dignity.
For those who had to leave their country, work represents a new chance of life and autonomy, as well as a fundamental tool for inclusion.
