Casagrande CB20 for Bored Piles at the “Ciudad de la Justicia” in Madrid
The new “City of justice” in Madrid, located in Valdebebas, is designed to bring together judicial offices and services currently distributed across the city. For the foundation works, Tepuy is using a Casagrande CB20 for bored piles with 600 and 800 mm diameters, reaching depths of 12 m.
The machine is working in PDC configuration, with Pull Down Cylinder, supporting controlled rotary drilling during pile execution. In areas where the ground was too hard for the standard auger, a drilling bucket was used to continue the excavation with the appropriate tool.
Thank you to Tepuy for choosing Casagrande equipment and to Geomym for its support as Casagrande dealer for Spain.
