Casagrande B300XP-2 Piling Rig at Work in IRELAND
Quinn Piling has deployed a Casagrande B300XP-2 piling rig to install 914 mm and 1,000 mm bored cast-in-place steel piles for both permanent and temporary works on the foundations of the new Narrow Water Bridge, a cross-border infrastructure project connecting County Louth (Republic of Ireland) and County Down (Northern Ireland).
The B300XP-2, powered by 472 kW engine, equipped with a H30 rotary head with 300 kNm max torque and 29 rpm max speed, rig is capable of a maximum of 89 m drilling depths, providing the power and reach necessary for large diameter piled foundations—even from constrained marine or shore-based platforms.
This deployment highlights Casagrande’s role in global geotechnical excellence: delivering robust, high-performance piling solutions in major infrastructure projects, from marine terminals to iconic cross-border bridges.
Thank you to Quinn Piling for selecting Casagrande as your partner in delivering precise, dependable foundation works on this vital piece of infrastructure.
