Casagrande played a key role in the STEAM Weeks project, an interdisciplinary initiative aimed at bringing young students closer to scientific, technological, engineering, artistic, and mathematical subjects. Collaborating with the Sacile Comprehensive Institute (PN), this project garnered significant interest from the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.

The STEAM Weeks provided Casagrande with a valuable opportunity to actively contribute to the scientific and technological education of younger generations. The company’s participation in this initiative was guided by a strong commitment to promoting awareness of STEAM disciplines from an early age, supporting students throughout their educational journey.

As part of the STEAM Weeks, Casagrande supported the project by organizing technical and scientific training activities, both theoretical and practical, involving preschool, primary, and lower secondary school students from Sacile (PN). These activities were coordinated by school staff, who found in Casagrande a valuable partner for imparting essential skills in mechanics and industrial design.

The synergy between the Comet cluster, the Sacile Comprehensive Institute (PN), and Casagrande gave rise to creative workshops based on observation and experimentation. These workshops were designed to solve practical problems and stimulate participants’ soft skills. Developed with an action-learning approach, they actively engaged students, enabling them to develop their abilities and competencies in a stimulating environment.

The training program, developed in collaboration with teachers, businesses, and industry experts, bridged the gap between schools and the production world, fostering a fruitful dialogue through the common language of technological innovation. Casagrande demonstrated its commitment to building a future where schools and industry collaborate to promote the region’s development from early childhood.

School principal Armida Muz highlighted the importance of the initiative and the effectiveness of the hands-on workshop methodology, which allows students to concretely understand the real-world applications of STEAM disciplines. Thanks to the collaboration with Casagrande and other partners, students experienced the appeal of STEAM technologies and glimpsed the professional opportunities these fields can offer.
