Construction is underway in Arcola, in the municipality of Barcis, for the Briglia Prescudin hydroelectric plant, designed to harness the existing hydraulic head on the Cellina stream, downstream of its confluence with the Prescudin stream.

For the ground consolidation works, Nardo Costruzioni S.r.l. is using a Casagrande C6 XP-2 rented from SEFI. The rig is drilling preholes with a diameter of 168 mm to a depth of 12 m in preparation for the subsequent jet grouting treatment.

Its compact dimensions and crawler mobility make the C6 XP-2 suitable for specialist drilling in complex environments, from mountain sites and uneven terrain to working areas close to riverbeds.

We thank Nardo Costruzioni S.r.l. for choosing Casagrande equipment and SEFI for supplying the rig on a rental basis.
