A Casagrande C16 XP-2 is currently being used by Palingeo to construct micropile bulkheads in Val Furva: the project involves drilling 220 mm holes up to 19 m deep for water containment works in an alpine environment with a high hydrogeological risk, characterised by complex terrain and limited operating space.

The C16 XP-2 is equipped with a slewing ring that allows precise 360° movements, even on limited construction sites, and the geometry of the turret ensures high versatility in the installation of both vertical and inclined micropiles.

This project highlights the C16’s ability to drill in situations that require continuous thrust, energy efficiency, and chassis manoeuvrability.

We would like to thank Palingeo for their continued trust in our equipment.
