B470XP-2 Cutter Soil Mixing Operations – Belgrade Waterfront, Serbia
At the Belgrade Waterfront development on the Sava River — one of Serbia’s largest urban regeneration projects — soil improvement and foundation works are being executed to support the construction of new residential and commercial structures.
The Casagrande B470XP-2, configured for Cutter Soil Mixing, is performing in-situ soil treatment to stabilize soft alluvial layers typical of riverbank geology. The B470XP-2, Casagrande’s largest rig, combines high torque and crowd force with precise control of mixing parameters, ensuring uniform treatment even at significant depths.
Technical Information:
-Maximum depth: 30 m
-Operating weight: ≈ 167 t
-Engine power: 563 kW
This setup demonstrates the adaptability of the B470XP-2 to specialized ground improvement tasks, reinforcing Casagrande’s expertise in engineered foundation equipment.
